What are some good chapter books to read to a 6 year old girl?

I'm thinking of something like "Little House in the Big Woods" by Laura Ingalls Wilder. I read it to her, but the content should be appropriate for a 6 year old to hear. How about Anne of Green Gables? Harriet the Spy? Charlotte's Web? Would they be alright? or do they have material a 6 year old wouldn't like?
