Headless rabbits on our property?

I was wondering whether when rabbits mate if the female rips the males head off? So far this year we found 2 headless rabbits on our property. But when i think back i used to have 2 rabbits and when we came home one day. The males head looked riped or had a broken neck. We used to think the falcons or snakes did it but this got me thinkin.
