A stupid boy question, just a tad confused?

There's this boy in my school, we're both in year 10 and i only have Spanish cl with him twice on a Thursday. I've never took much notice in him before, yet i started to fancy him a bit for the past 2 months or something for some reason. I added him on facebook as i really don't have a clue how to 'speak' to some sort of popular guy who always talks to the bitchy popular girl and hangs with the idiot popular guys lol im generally really shy, so i cant exactly walk up to him in spanish cl "Hi!" all of a sudden lol, in cl i sit sort of diagonally from him and we both get on with work or he's talking to his friend, he is nice don't get me wrong, but we just dont have that spark to talk? he must have said two or three sentences in the two years we've both been in high school lol one was "We're in a different room Leanne" and "Is this your book?, ah no its not sorryyy :)" (he gave me the wrong persons book) and other than that on facebook we did the typical "hey, how are you" which went fine, then i asked him wuu2... nooo reply. didnt speak after that for the past month, but i may just be suspicious but he looks at me in cl, may be general if he noticed me looking, i think it is just a general look. and i tried to talk to him on facebook tonight, i said " hey, i know i dont speak to you, so i though i may say hey why not lol" nooooo reply, yet he was posting wall posts to othr people. just a little curious why?? sorry about the longness of this lol.
