One of my roommates has strong body odor (from the sweat of her armpits). How can I tell her this?

My other roomie (Girl B), who lived with Girl A last year, told me that Girl A never used deodorant in her life because her mother "doesn't believe in deodorants." I'm honestly bewildered by this and don't know how to approach the problem.
