First bike?

I am a sport bike lover and am looking at purchasing my first street bike. I am not a new rider of bikes just not that experienced on street bikes. The bikes I am torn between are the GSX R600 and the YZF R6. Both bikes are awesome and straight up . What would you guys recommend from the two?
