Do you think past celebrities overshadow newer?

I feel more fascinated by past celebrities and their desire to make a comeback through reality shows. Compared to past times when if someone died in the limelight, there was not too big of a chance to revive your fame. I thank reality shows. this way, past actors/actresses don't have to make music albums that only are a success in foreign unknown countries, 10 years later.
